EUROPEAN FINANCING, HOW TO LOCATE NEW OPPORTUNITIES

The European Union, in order to develop concrete actions in the line of priorities established by EU policies, facilitates access to financing to its citizens and organizations in the Member States, articulating a series of instruments that allow them to access community funds.

As we mentioned in another article, these grants adopt different mechanisms depending on the objectives pursued and the principle of subsidiarity that underpins the decision-making process in these institutions.

In relation to the economic-financial aid provided by the European Commission, we can differentiate between aid programs (subsidies), tenders (within the framework of the operation of multilateral tenders) and subsidies and aid managed directly by Member States. In this post, we focus on the aid programs, which are made known through the so-called Calls for Proposals.

That features share this type of grant programs?

With the commonalities and a general introduction, what are some of the most interesting programs currently being implemented?

  • Horizon Europe: Research and innovation actions with scientific, technological, economic, environmental, and social impact.
  • European Social Fund+: The European Social Fund+ (ESF+) is the EU's main instrument for investing in people with the aim of building a more social and inclusive Europe.
